The Show

The YIN Project – IN CONCERT is an entertaining and thought-provoking look at why it has become so confusing to know what a powerful feminine woman should look like.

Is our current definition of power serving us well and moving us in the direction we want to go? Is the mass media’s idea of a powerful woman helping or hindering us?

The Show will question this as well as entertain, educate and inspire!

The cross-genre music includes tunes that you know and love, as well as original songs by Rachael Jayne Groover and her band “The Gender Gap.” The music helps us understand how we have looked at feminine and masculine roles and passionately encourages the audience to a play more of an active role in how we define power – particularly feminine power. Hear some samples of this music!

The Show – in part or in its entirety - is a perfect addition for a conference or workshop: especially those that focus on women and women’s issues. Imagine giving your clients an entertainment experience that will truly reach their hearts and their minds.

The Workshop

This workshop will be one day out of your life that will affect and inspire all your days to follow. Our goal is to create a Fun, Relaxing and Transforming experience for you.

Everything in our world is made up of a balance of Yin and Yang. For centuries we have slowly but surely removed more and more of the Yin from our lives and society. The Yin is the feminine, the flow, the flexible and the intuitive. It is our connection to our own heart, to the hearts of others and to the Earth. The dire consequences now facing us in the world today are a result of our disconnection and fierce competition with each other, as well as from a lack of passion and purpose in life as individuals and societies.

To lead a fulfilling, healthy and passionate life where we create what we want for ourselves and our communities, we must start adding the Yin back into our world.

There are many aspects of Yin. In this workshop we will focus on 3 main areas.

Feminine Power
Today it is more confusing than ever to decide how a woman should act – in the boardroom, in the bedroom, on the dating scene - or if she wants to become the next president. Recently we have made many positive steps towards allowing women more power, but in the pursuit of that power, many women have taken on a more masculine role without realizing it. A woman operating within her feminine power will be stronger and more capable than a woman operating in the masculine role. There is huge resistance in the world to this idea.

The Yin Project is about healing the conflict between a woman’s desire to be in her natural feminine flow, and what she has been told she should DO or BE.

Heart’s Desire
We are powerful, creative beings. Desire is constant and natural, but as our Yin became less so did the recognition of our individuality – we all have our own unique wants and wishes. Our culture’s addiction to mass media has heavily “programmed” us with what we “should” want and therefore we have been led away from our heart’s true desires. We have been taught that strategic thinking is more effective than allowing our feelings to inspire and guide us.

The YIN Project will help you get in touch with your own heart’s guidance, so when you achieve the things you want, you’ll feel gratitude and satisfaction, rather than be left with a feeling of “Is this all there is?”

Attraction
Life organizes itself around what we are thinking, feeling, doing, wanting and ready to receive. We attract to us what we give our attention to. The more we focus on what is exciting and fulfilling, the more we experience excitement and fulfillment. When we not only understand, but practice this process, we consciously create more of what we want and less of what we don’t. This may sound simple - but the act of focusing and following what we enjoy or are naturally attracted to is so often not encouraged.

The YIN Project provides a safe place to discover what you feel attracted to so you can consciously experience more joy in your life.

The Retreat

Healing by Design
A private retreat designed just for you.

This retreat is designed for women who want to embody their sensuality, their sexuality, and their feminine radiance, so they can inspire others.

It is for women who want to access deeper levels of intimacy within themselves and their relationships.

It is for women who are ready to trust that relaxing into their intuitive and attractive natures is more powerful in creating what they want in their life than always pushing to make things happen.

It is for women who have arrived at a place in their lives where they are open and willing to declare their own needs and desires and to follow their passion, instead of what has been prescribed for them.

This retreat is one of the safest and most sacred ways to explore The Power of the Feminine and the power of Sexual Healing. Sexual Healing is about uncovering the fears, insecurities, and awesome power that arise when we connect with our sexuality. It brings forth freedom to express ourselves more passionately and authentically .

This retreat is a very YIN experience. It will invite you to take some time to slow down, go within and allow others to nurture you for awhile, rather than being constantly on the go, taking care of everyone else. Between healing sessions you may choose to soak in the mineral tubs, visit the sauna, hike, be pampered, journal, or just sit in one of the most beautiful parks in the world.

A Message From The Facilitators:

Within the last 6 years we have both been fortunate to have participated in and facilitated events that powerfully demonstrated the importance of connecting with our feminine sexuality. These events, as well as interacting with hundreds of women within The YIN Project , have inspired us to create this unique retreat.

The greatest transformation does not come from reading a book or having something explained – it comes from experience. We will take you through a series of experiences that will help you access and apply a new way of thinking, being, feeling, and reacting.

With our years of experience in tantric education, energetic healing, and personal coaching for women we will provide you with a safe and nurturing environment to:

Uncover blocks to intimacy and supportive relationships.
Discover new ways to connect with your sensuality and sexuality that will add more joy and pleasure to your everyday moments.
Reveal the fears, insecurities, and power that surround your relationship with your sexuality.
Experience being much more comfortable in your own skin.
More fully understand how connecting to your feminine energy helps you attract the intimate partnership that you desire.
Have a delicious, healing, and rejuvenating time in one of the most beautiful towns in the US .

We will follow up with you a week after you return home to support the integration process from your rich experience. You are not alone on this journey.

Attendance requires either previous work with us, in the form of a workshop, private coaching, or a personal interview process, so we can make sure that this retreat is a good fit for you at this time in your life.

The YIN Project's current home base is Ashland , Oregon . Depending on where you live and our travel schedule we can arrange it that we come to you.

Healing by Design is a private retreat for one; however you may consider bringing a friend or lover.

Length: Minimum of 2 days – can be longer by design.

Dates: Designed to suit a variety of schedules. Most weekends or consecutive weekdays can be booked within the months of June through October, 2008.

Price : Designed to suit a variety of budgets. Starts at $850
(Depends on what extra elements and healing modalities you choose). Example: You may choose a top end Japanese Soak and massage or a $6 all-day pass to the public mineral baths.

The retreat price does not include accommodation, meals, or transportation on purpose so you can stay and eat within your budget and where you want. We will help you find accommodation in the picturesque town of Ashland , to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible - at the right price.
